Summer AP World History Bridge Program

In 2026-2027, MHS is offering AP World History to 10th graders as a highly-focused and intensive alternative to Global Studies 10. This grant would fund a pilot orientation and assistance program during the summer months for students enrolled in the class in the fall. This AP World History Summer Bridge Program will help students to meet the high-level demands of this course and provide additional support as they prepare for a rigorous academic experience. While all enrolled students will be eligible to participate, the program will also proactively identify and invite students who may particularly benefit from the additional preparation. Funding for the grant covers teacher’s compensation and materials/books that will be used during the summer program.
