Orchestrating Innovation: MakeMusic Pilot

In order to support the evolution of our instruction for today’s digital-native students, this grant funds an instructional software pilot program for the orchestra at Chatsworth Avenue School called MakeMusic. Effective music instruction, particularly for beginning string players, relies heavily on consistent and meaningful individual practice, a component often challenging to manage and motivate in an elementary setting. MakeMusic is designed to move beyond traditional methods, leverage modern instructional technology, and support the creation of a district-specific curriculum.
