Mission to Mars: Engineering Habitats for Extreme Environments

Mission to Mars is a hands-on STEM pilot program that challenges students to take on the role of engineers and scientists tasked with designing and testing a small-scale habitat capable of supporting life on Mars. Through this real-world context, students engage with engineering design, environmental science, and data-driven decision making. The program is implemented as a pilot unit within the 7th and 8th grade Science Research Team (SRT).
