Indoor Mural at Central School

This grant funds the commission of a large indoor mural by local artist Piero Manrique in a high-traffic common area of Central School. The mural will reflect the school’s diverse community and transform an outdated space into a welcoming environment for students and staff. The project connects to the 4th grade art curriculum, giving students the opportunity to study professional muralists, contribute ideas to the design process, and see their creative input brought to life at a meaningful scale.
