Future U Initiative

This grant funds a one-year license for a college and career readiness software platform for all 8th grade students at Hommocks Middle School. Through the platform, students will complete interest assessments, explore career pathways, develop résumé skills, engage with personal finance concepts, and access virtual college tours. The initiative supports the district’s Family & Consumer Science curriculum and is designed to help students begin building a vision for their future — with particular value for students who may not otherwise have access to in-person college exploration opportunities.
