Flexible Seating for Learning

This grant provides flexible seating options in four Transition Academy classrooms that serve students with high sensory needs. Many students benefit from movement breaks, sensory regulation strategies, and learning environments that allow for comfort and independence. The addition of flexible seating, such as wobble stools, ergonomic chairs, standing desks, and other adaptive furniture, directly supports students’ sensory needs and helps promote attention during instruction and work periods.
