The Central School Gardening Grant
The Central School courtyard is transformed into a year-round outdoor learning lab featuring a greenhouse, multiple garden beds, an accessible raised bed, and an updated irrigation system. The space supports hands-on, standards-aligned learning in science, STEM, math, and literacy for all students across grade levels, and also hosts a Gardening Club and community events. Programs focus on sustainability, wellness, and experiential learning and impact will be measured.
Grantees: Melissa Cruz-Gomez, Eileen Diehl
